I reviewed the lessons for a third time. I think part of my trouble was that I forgot to drop my pen after the AOL.

I am very new. In the video, the students seemed to do very well. Maybe, I could not get my mind/unconsious off of the fallen power line at our farm (it killed my dog - 3 months ago). Both of the first two TRN Lessons seemed to reflect this (trash).

At the second lesson, only the dimensions list seemed to be partly similar.

I have a question about the third template with lesson #2. I went straight to the third sheet after completing Stage 1 & 2 on page 1, and Stage 3 on page 2. Was that the correct action to take?

Did I pause the DVD too soon?

Sorry to hear about your dog. I lost a good dog last year and it did have a bad effect on my RV for a while. I've recovered, though. I'll bet you will too.

You should have produced a brand new page 1 and page 2 for this target, and not be trying to build a page 3 based on the page 1 and page 2 from the first target. Was that your question?

Goat: Sorry I was not clearer. I used 2 sheets of paper for Target 1. I used 3 sheets of paper for Target 2.

Regarding Target #2: I did not pause between the sheets of paper (3 total). The pace was similar to target 1, yet a tad slower when I turned to page 3. So far, my idiograms came closer to the photo images than the freehand responses at stage 3.

I suppose my inquiry relates to my expectations for that third page (I forgot the title of it). The only parts of the process that ended up with any hint of similarity to the Major's feedback were a few dimension words, and perhaps a few textures.

On target #2, My [X] target mark was no where close. Should I continue at this point? I have reviewed several other posts that suggest I may be expecting too much at this point in the RV journey.

One more question for the Great Goat....Do you recommend that I keep a file of past sessions?

The S1 and S2 pacing should be the same on all pages. The S3 Analytical Sketches always take longer than the S3 Freehand Sketch. You only get 15 secs for the freehand sketch, but you can take a minute or two on the analytical sketches. It all depends on how much Dimension data you get in the S2.


At this point in your training concern yourself only with how well you stay in structure. Do not worry about the content or how well it matches the feedback. Stay in structure. If you can, scan and upload your sessions to get feedback.


I do. At some point you will want to look back and see how far you have really progressed in your training. On top of that, it is a good practice to file your work systematically. If you progress to the point where you are working on projects, some of which can stretch over months or years, the records get out of hand pretty quickly if you haven't already developed a systemac approach.

I do not know how to download my work for internet viewing. I will seek out help.

By download did you actually mean upload? If you haven't figured it out yet... you have to scan each page to a jpg image and then upload them to a site such as http://www.photobucket.com. Then either use the (Img) tag to insert them into a post (depending on the size), or use the (URL) tag to create a link to the page where they are located.
