Post Re: Intelligence cue
Thanks Tiger74 and Dan. A fascinating, "sexy" (as Dames would say) cue emerging, although I have to say we went from Ed and Dan's initial advice on approaching the problem from the personal level to the furthest opposite of species-wide and unspecific.

Another possible caveat, I think, is that where enhancement of intelligence/cognition has a clear meaning, "human enhancement" does not. "Enhancement" is contextual. An optimal human enhancement in a time of famine would be an ability to survive off of fewer calories, and so on. So, if "optimum human enhancement" it is at all in put in the same family as "adaptation" or "evolution" in the matrix, the cue answer could be any number of survivability adaptations, let alone addressing intelligence itself. Still a fascinating cue, but for these reasons perhaps veering away from optimizing intelligence.

GFrei,

It looks like we have covered two bases through this effort, from the broad-spectrum of the whole, to the individual himself/herself.

When the cues hold, and we get it right, the important thing will be the results from the session data itself. And, I can only imagine where that will lead.

Great ideas/thoughts GFrei. I sincerely hope you learn these skills, if you haven't yet, that is.

I agree Dan. I think we have two good starts for approaching this problem on the individual level as well as across the species.
Although I think you meant Optimum human intelligence enhancement
vs. Optimum human enhancement ??
That would still be an interesting and probably important cue, but it's not what we want here for the reasons that GFrei just said. In fact, if the goal is to help the advancement of the human species, this cue may be the better one to go with. But it doesn't serve our purposes of this thread. But I digress.

So, what's next? Should we split into two groups and try both at the same time and go from there?

One thing to keep in mind is that when we use the word ' My ' to start a cue, only the viewer can run the session on himself/herself.

Using the individuals ' Name/ ' to start the cue allows for any viewer to run the cue, including oneself.

I know these statements are self evident, but are probably worth repeating.

Precious prescient words, indeed, from this time-space world's only RV mascot.

Thanks again, guys.

So:

Name / optimal intelligence enhancement (personal)
Optimal human intelligence enhancement (trans-personal)

Are these where we're at? I will wait for these to be okayed.

Thanks Tiger. I have indeed learned the skills - which continually amaze me - but I'm sure I have plenty of room for improvement. If we do take this on as a group, of course I'd love to add my sessions and have them reviewed. If not this one, I'll get in on one of those group sessions.

Thanks for the note on Name / ... vs My ..., Dan. I wasn't quite sure about it.

The cue's are alright.

A technique that I use, is to write out the final cue in the middle of a white piece of paper, and look at it all by itself, and just see if the cue looks and reads right.

{ On the next post I'll show you an example. }

If you will, please write the cue you want to run all by itself, so I can see the cue against the white backdrop of the screen. All by itself. Just the cue.

One more look. Thanks.

Dan

Well, I can't seem to get the cue in the middle of the page, but you get the idea.

Write out your cue, then kind of look through the cue, and visualize the cue in your mind, and see if the cue is right.

It takes practice to cue correctly, and is a lot of work. But if you try and you work with cuing, it will start working for you. I can't say it gets easier, but you will know more often, when the words or the cuing strategy is not in order, or is in order.

Good Luck friends in you're cuing endeavors. All the Best.

Dan

Where has this gone; anyone getting smarter?
What kind of session results on these well thought out cues?

GFrei initiated this discussion in 2013 apparently with a desire to improve intelligence and some good ideas were forthcoming. I would like to know what this has led to and particularly which cues were more successful.
