WHEN TO ABORT SESSION IN S3 FREEHAND
I am currently going through DVD #4 and Ed talks about aborting a session and starting over if you "employ your mind" in the S3-Freehand stage. If given up to 15 seconds to complete the S3-Freehand Sketch, as Ed indicates, then how would one know if this stage has been tainted and a new session needs to be conducted? Should I be attempting to complete this stage a lot quicker than the 15 seconds, or allow myself the allotted time to ensure I am not excluding any archetypes? RVRobot once told me that his S3-Freehand takes about 3 seconds including KSA labeling, but should that speed be attempted by someone with only 3 months experience?

Re: WHEN TO ABORT SESSION IN S3 FREEHAND
I take about 3 seconds before I start labelling, so maybe 5 seconds total, but I'm sure there are other pros out there who take a bit more time.
It should be totally automatic, almost explosive. Once you label your headings it should just be like BAM on the page. That's how you know you're not thinking.
If you want to do yourself a big favour, post a video online for review alongside a scanned session.

Re: WHEN TO ABORT SESSION IN S3 FREEHAND
RVRobot, Thank you for your input, but it does contradict what Ed teaches in the DVD's, which, is a "slowing down" of the time spent on each successive stage:
S1- instantaneous 1-2 seconds S2- metronomic consistent pace S3- Freehand 15 seconds S4- slower yet 3 seconds per column approx. 2 min to 2/3 mark
could you please explain this?

You could not effectively capture more than three key site aspects in 5 seconds. What if six or seven attempt to present?
A minimum of 10 seconds for the S3 freehand, not including labelling.

Re: WHEN TO ABORT SESSION IN S3 FREEHAND
Thank you for the clarification Ed. But getting back to my original question, how would a novice be able to determine if an S3-Freehand sketch has been tainted requiring a new session to be started? I have been Remote Viewing 3 months now and seem to be on target roughly 70% of the time. Could this be the result of a botched freehand sketch? I attended your advanced workshop last month and no mention was ever made to me being out of structure by you or any of the other assistant instructors, so I am confident my structure is sound. Or am I just at the level where practice will improve accuracy?

Would you expect to come even close to mastering any skill in three months?
Every skill has a learning curve, with ups and downs. (Run a forum search on this topic).
Practice.

Most certainly I will continue to practice, thank you.

Re: WHEN TO ABORT SESSION IN S3 FREEHAND
I forgot to add - the above times are for my average session. As Ed mentions you should not limit the number of key site aspects you get in S3 freehand.
For me, though, 85% of my sessions have three aspects (just how I'm programmed I guess - but I won't know until after my S3 is complete)
